Brad Caden recently had a great day of ice fishing. Armed with his ice fishing gear and some of his favorite Skandia Tungsten jigs, he hit the ice near Cement City, Michigan.

Brad would be targeting Crappie and Walleye on this fishing trip. He used a #12 Diamond Tipped Skandia jig with a minnow to go after Crappie during daylight hours. Fishing in approximately 18′ of water Brad caught a nice mess of Crappie with the Diamond tipped Tungsten and minnow rig.

Walleye were next on his hit list.

Again, Brad choose a Skandia Tungsten jig but this time it would be a size #8 in the Pelkie series. Tipped with a small shiner and fishing in 8 to 14 feet of water after dark, again Brad had success, targeting Walleyes.

What a great day out on the ice. First Crappies and then following it up with some Walleye action. It doesn’t get too much better than that…

Congratulations to Brad and his recent success.
