When Ray received a pair of Whip’r Rods from his fiancé and team partner Mandolyn as a Christmas gift in 2010, he went on a mission to find out who manufactured these rods. Ray simply wanted to give feedback on how awesome he thought the fishing rods were. Little did he know that a simple phone call would change the path of their team and line the HARD WATER MANIACS up with their new exclusive tackle sponsor and pro staff agent, K&E Stopper Lures, makers of Whip’r Rods.

After researching K&E Stopper Lures further, the MANIACS discovered that K&E also provided most of the fishing tackle and equipment their team has been using for years through their various tackle brands such as DOT, Arnold, Skandia and more. This opened the door for the MANIACS team as a perfect promotional opportunity having a decade of experience using and catching fish on the tackle!

Full steam ahead now for the HARD WATER MANIACS, doing everything they can to help put K&E Stopper Lures and their brands in the ears, minds, and tackle boxes of every fisherman they encounter! The HARD WATER MANIACS are not only excited, but honored to be a part of the K&E Stopper Lures family. They know that this relationship, based on strong fundamentals, professionalism, trust, and determination will be a long lasting opportunity not only for the MANIACS, but K&E as well.

Jim Sprague, owner of K&E Stopper Lures is equally happy having Ray and Mandolyn onboard. “The HARD WATER MANIACS have always been held in high regard by ice fisherman throughout the ice belt, from Montana to New York and everywhere in between,” says Sprague. “I’m excited to have them join our pro staff ranks and become part of the K&E team.”
