The show that celebrates Michigan’s conservation heritage returns to Metro-Detroit February 27 through March 1 when the 47th annual Outdoorama sets up camp at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
For more than four decades outdoors enthusiasts from across southern Michigan have flocked to Outdoorama each year, making it one of the best and longest-running outdoors shows in the Midwest.
The 2012 Ultimate Fishing Show Detroit may be renamed to the Ultimate Ice Fishing show with ice fishing seminars by top experts Mark Martin, Joe Raymer and Dan Armitage, and Frank’s Great Outdoors bringing a semi-trailer full of ice shanties, sonar tackle and accessories for hardwater action.
Reports are coming in from all over the Midwest on some great ice fishing success. As you can see by the pictures, some real giants are hitting the ice.
D&R Sports Center is hosting a free two-day weekend Ice Fishing Show on Dec. 5-6. Throughout the day, both Saturday and Sunday, renowned ice fishing pros will give free seminars to share their experience, tips and tricks for successful ice fishing.
